Best Express Transportation is seeking a motivated individual to be part of the BEST team! We are a fast-growing company. We are looking for an HR Assistant/Front Desk to join our team. The responsibilities include answering phone calls, greeting visitors, conducting orientation for new employees, attend marketing events and maintain social media accounts, and maintain personnel files. The HR Assistant will report directly to the HR Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

· Assist employees and management with day-to-day office and HR support by answering phone calls, greeting visitors, typing, scanning, filing among other duties.

· Assist with a variety of HR functions including recruitment, staffing, employee records, new hire orientation and employee recognition.

· Support special projects and events related to these functions and operate under immediate supervision.

· Maintain employee information by entering and updating employment and status-change data.

· Maintain employee confidence and protect operations by keeping human resource information confidential.

· Responsible for filing all documents in personnel files.

· Maintains office supplies.

· Post company related information in social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

· Other duties as assigned.

Administrative Assistant Skills and Qualifications:

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent Organizational and communication skills
Detail Oriented
Problem Solving
Knowledgeable in social media platforms

Education and Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent education required.
1 years of administrative assistant and Human Resources Experience (preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance
Prior experience with trucking company (preferred)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.

Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
