Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a Staffing Coordinator/ Court Liaison for our facility to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. What You Will Do In Your Role:

The Staffing Coordinator/ Court Liaison assists with the coordination of legal documentation and associated processes for patients within the facility in addition to centralized staffing for the Nursing Departments and provides support to the Chief Nursing Officer’s Office and nursing units.

You will accurately complete daily assignments within appropriate timeframes. Utilizes available documents to inform and guide daily activities.
You will responsible for the compliance regarding mental health legal status for all patients within facility.
You will collaborate with Assistant Head Nurses/Charge Nurses to ensure that needs are met.
You will coordinates the use of sitters and ensure that there is ongoing evaluation so that discontinuation of the sitter is accomplished when appropriate.
You will provide reports to the Administrator on-site and nursing leadership.
You will work with professional and non-professional employees of both the hospital and external agencies.
You will serve as Court Liaison between the hospital and the county courthouse with the ability to travel between hospital and courthouse

What Qualifications You Will Need:

One or more years’ clerical experience in a health-care environment.
College or business training preferred.
Ability to accurately compose, type and transcribe documents.
Must possess excellent computer, organizational and communication skills.
Obtain or in process of holding notary public license
