Human Resources Specialist

Location : Peachtree City, GA

FLSA Status : Exempt

Salary range : $50K - $60K DOE

Job Overview : The HR Specialist will play a crucial role in managing and supporting human resources functions within the manufacturing environment.

This role involves overseeing employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices, with specific knowledge of safety regulations within the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company goals and industry regulations.
Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
Address employee inquiries and resolve issues related to performance, benefits, and workplace conflicts.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with management to create and implement safety training programs and initiatives.
Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as turnover rates and employee satisfaction.
Facilitate employee development programs and performance reviews.

Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience as an HR Specialist or similar role, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
In-depth knowledge of labor laws, safety regulations, and HR best practices.
Strong understanding of manufacturing safety standards and practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

Japanese / English Bilingual is a plus.
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Experience with safety compliance and OSHA regulations is highly desirable.
