Piedmont Protective Services is currently seeking to hire a full-time HR Assistant to assist in the daily operations of our Charlotte Office. As an HR Assistant at Piedmont Protective Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in all administrative functions related to recruitment and hiring processes, specifically focusing on security guards and company police officers. You will utilize Indeed and other platforms to attract qualified candidates and ensure a smooth hiring process.

Pay:

Starting at $18.00 per hour

Shift:

Monday through Friday 9am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

Create and post engaging job advertisements across various platforms to attract potential security officer candidates.
Screen resumes to identify qualified candidates.
Coordinate and schedule in-person interviews.
Conduct thorough in-person and virtual interviews, assessing candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Assist in developing and updating training materials for security officer onboarding.

Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in HR or related field preferred.
Experience in HR, recruitment, or a related field is preferred.
Proficiency in conducting interviews and evaluations.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
Knowledge of state regulations and requirements for security officer registration is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
