Position Overview:
We are looking for a Talent Sourcer with full-cycle recruitment expertise who shares our love for content. This role requires someone who can handle the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to offer calls, while identifying top-tier talent. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, knowledgeable about the entertainment industry, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including sourcing, conducting initial calls, scheduling interviews, and facilitating offer discussions.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers and internal teams to understand hiring needs and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Proactively source and attract top talent through creative sourcing methods, including industry networks, social media, and recruitment platforms.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates, focusing on those with experience in romance writing and screenwriting.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings to evaluate qualifications, cultural fit, and alignment with role requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and interviewers.
- Lead offer discussions, communicating effectively with candidates and managing expectations throughout the process.
- Stay informed about trends in the entertainment industry, particularly in romance-focused films, TV shows, and miniseries.
- Ability to work from our Sunnyvale, CA office four days a week.
- Proven experience in full-cycle recruitment, with a strong ability to source and hire for creative roles.
- Familiarity with the romance genre, including romance writers, screenwriters, films, and TV shows.
- Knowledge of miniseries production and industry trends is a significant plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple roles and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in a startup or similarly dynamic setting is preferred.
