Description
As the Senior Recruiting Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end recruitment process for Pressed Roots. This role requires a hybrid work environment, meaning the candidate must be based in Texas and able to commute to Dallas, Plano, and Arlington as needed. You will be expected to work onsite regularly to meet with hiring managers, facilitate hiring events, build relationships with local cosmetology schools, and manage in-person recruitment efforts.
As a key leader in the recruiting function, you will develop and implement sourcing strategies, manage candidate pipelines, and ensure a seamless and high-quality hiring experience. You will also oversee the recruiting team, mentor recruiters, and work closely with leadership to align recruiting efforts with Pressed Roots’ strategic growth goals.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, from sourcing to offer extension, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
- Develop and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract top talent, including passive candidate outreach, networking, and leveraging recruiting platforms.
- Manage and mentor recruiters, ensuring alignment with company hiring goals and best practices.
- Regularly visit Pressed Roots locations to meet with hiring managers, conduct recruitment strategy sessions, and ensure alignment between hiring needs and business objectives.
- Facilitate onsite hiring events, career fairs, and recruiting partnerships with local cosmetology schools and alumni networks.
- Own and refine talent pipelines, ensuring proactive sourcing for critical roles.
- Ensure hiring managers receive proper candidate write-ups (including resumes and scorecards) before interviews are scheduled.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within Workable (ATS) and track recruitment performance metrics.
- Oversee social media recruiting initiatives, employer branding efforts, and talent marketing campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and recruiting policies.
- Conduct reference checks and background screenings as needed.
- Continuously assess and refine recruiting processes for efficiency and scalability as Pressed Roots expands.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in recruiting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior recruiting role.
- Must be based in Texas and able to commute to Dallas, Plano, and Arlington regularly.
- Proven ability to source, attract, and hire top talent in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Experience leading onsite hiring initiatives, recruitment events, and partnerships with educational institutions.
- Strong understanding of recruitment metrics, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and hiring best practices.
- Experience managing a recruiting team and implementing structured hiring processes.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to develop and execute recruiting strategies that align with company growth goals.
- High level of organization and attention to detail to manage multiple hiring processes simultaneously.
- Familiarity with recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, Workable, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of compliance and employment laws related to hiring.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds for recruiting materials or event setups.
