The Talent Acquisition Associate will work in close partnership with the Talent Acquisition Manager and University Liaison to enhance recruitment efforts for programs including Behavioral Health, Housing & Homelessness Services, Child and Family Services, and agency internships. The Talent Acquisition Associate will be committed to growth in best practices, agency knowledge, excellent and effective communication, with a priority for gaining talent acquisition skills for career development and future advancement.

Essential Functions:
The essential purpose of the Talent Acquisition Associate role will be to collaborate closely with the Talent Acquisition Manager and University Liaison to effectively support hiring needs of the organization, including:
- Manage the updating of job requisitions with an ongoing eye for details and accuracy.
- Coordinate the solicitation and posting of agency internships, screening of candidates, and administrative coordination with programs and students.
- Coordinate career fairs logistics such as registration, preparations, inventory, and follow up.
- Represent Access Services at recruitment events as needed, as support to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
- Prioritize the mission, values, and equity values of Access Services as the lens through which tasks are completed, and any candidates are engaged with.
- Regularly assess and review talent pipelines for jobs and internships; identify opportunities and challenges, maintaining open and regular communication with the Talent Acquisition Manager to provide insight, potential solutions, and strategies.
- Assist in updating the applicant Tracking System (ATS), maintaining agency presence on Handshake, updating job boards, and managing daily operations of agency Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Maintain accurate reporting, data, and statistics as requested for recruitment team and leadership.
- Actively source candidates for key positions using recruitment techniques and tools, including identified platforms as requested.
- Screen and communicate with candidates, making recommendations to hiring managers as appropriate.
- Research colleges and universities for targeted recruitment efforts.
Other Functions:
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance, and work scheduled overtime, or be available for unplanned overtime as necessary to meet program needs.
- Physical presence in the office is required with regularity. This is an in-office position, with regular presence required at career events, especially during the fall and spring college semesters.
- Driving a personal vehicle to the location of career events will be required regularly during fall/spring recruitment season.
Schedule:
- Full time, 40 hours/weekly, Monday-Friday during regular business hours. Some flexibility for rare career events scheduled in the evenings or weekends.
Education:
- College degree in human resources, business administration, communication, hospitality, or a related field required.
Experience:
- One or more years of related experience in administrative work, recruitment, customer service, sales, marketing, or development required. Experience with applicant tracking systems strongly preferred.
AND
- Experience in the human services field is preferred.

- Knowledge of and/or desire to grow in skills and talent about Talent Acquisition is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight to achieve results.
- Proficiency in, or the ability to learn and use workplace applications, platforms, job boards, and technologies including Workable Applicant Tracking System (ATS), UKG, Virtuous (CRM), Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and various other job boards, Microsoft Office Suite, and more. Skilled in adapting to new software systems.
- Bilingual skills are desirable, and a benefit to any candidate.
Essential Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Work in a standard office environment.
- Utilize desktop computer equipment daily.
- Able to lift or move items associated with sedentary work and light to medium work. Exert up to 20 lbs. normally and up to 50 lbs. during special events.
- Maintain a daily/regular office presence. Driver personal vehicle to career events and regional office locations as necessary.
Pay: Starting at $22, with increases for experience in the human services or recruitment field.
