Are you a skilled leader with a background in teaching, child development, or human resources? Are you passionate about early childhood learning and ready to shape a supportive, engaging coaching culture? We're hiring a Operations & Coaching Director to lead our children's soccer and t-ball coaching team. This is a full-time, year-round position (not seasonal or temporary), starting mid-to-late July.

We create fun, active learning experiences that help children grow socially, emotionally, and physically—starting as young as age one. This role is perfect for someone who brings a strong understanding of child development along with leadership and organizational strengths.
Position Responsibilities:
Coach Recruitment, Training & Supervision:
- Use your HR, teaching, or child development expertise to hire, train, and support new coaches.
- Assist and/or subs coaches during their unavailability to coach.
- Oversee onboarding and ongoing mentorship, ensuring coaches deliver high-quality, child-centered sessions.
- Use tools like Workable and Indeed to manage recruitment efficiently.
- Be a trusted leader and go-to resource for a diverse team of instructors.
Scheduling & Operational Support:
- Maintain staff scheduling spreadsheets and coordinate weekly coach assignments.
- Oversee schedule changes and facilitate the “Swap Meet” to ensure seamless program coverage.
- Support administrative tasks such as customer service and internal communications.
Schedule & Flexibility
This is a 30-hour/week position with flexible scheduling across weekdays and some Saturday mornings during the season. While consistent availability is important, we understand the value of work-life balance and offer some flexibility in how hours are distributed.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Has experience minimum two years of experience in teaching, early childhood education, child development, coaching, and/or HR.
- Enjoys building and mentoring teams.
- Is detail-oriented and thrives in fast-paced, people-focused environments.
- Is ready to lead with empathy, flexibility, and purpose.
- Wants to make a lasting impact in both education and sports.
- Resides in the Greater Austin area and can travel easily within Georgetown, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Lakeway, Bee Cave, Spicewood, North, and South Austin.
- Proficient in MS Office, CRM systems, and relational databases/software.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a nationwide criminal background check.
- Owns reliable transportation with valid insurance (shared/family vehicles, ride-shares, and public transportation not acceptable).
- Competitive Salary: $32,500 – $39,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
