Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity in the service industry for a Human Resources (HR) Assistant based in Los Angeles, California. As an HR Assistant, you will be providing on-site support to the claims team, handling mail, performing data entry, and tracking data in our system.
Responsibilities
- Support the claims team in their daily operations
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail
- Input data into the system accurately and efficiently
- Track data within the system and generate reports as needed
- Maintain accurate records of claims and associated tasks
- Respond to inquiries related to claims processing
- Monitor and manage leave of absence requests
- Ensure compliance with relevant HR policies and procedures
- Assist with other HR-related tasks as required.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in using HR software and computer applications.
- Must have a strong understanding of HR practices and labor legislation.
- Experience in handling Leave of Absence processes is essential.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- Candidate must possess a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- A degree in Human Resources or related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a similar role within the service industry is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a team and foster a positive work environment.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization.
- Willingness to continue learning and improving HR skills and knowledge.
