The Role You’ll Perform
The HR Partner will bridge strategy and execution matched with the ability to partner broadly with senior people leadership in the division or function.
- She/He will develop and execute business strategies focused on talent
management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning and
associate engagement to drive business outcomes.
- The HR Partner will be empowered to create people-centric plans to
meet business demands through a strong understanding of how talent
fits into the business strategy and how to develop talent.
- In additional to building strategic HR skills across the business, they will also need to bring superior skills at collaborating, influencing, and problem solving with diverse stakeholders across Flowserve.
Experience, Skills, And Abilities That You’ll Need
- Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
- Leverages cross-functional relationships to bring together ideas, information, and industry analyses to develop best practices
- Strong consultative skills and ability to influence without direct authority and lead complex initiatives and broad scope projects

- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience resolving complex associate issues
- Strong knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including recruiting, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related experience
What You’ll Be Doing
- Establishes and maintains an intimate understanding of the business, in the interest of building effective and productive working relationships with senior people leaders.
- Provides support and guidance to management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
- Embodies and drives a culture of continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic people consulting and coaching, influencing leaders relative to necessary business actions.
