The Company: Our client is an industrial services company that has been proudly serving the Houston area for over 20 years. They are seeking a full-time, direct-hire HR Business Partner to join their team with a salary range of $95K-$103K. This role is located in the Deer Park area (77536).
The Ideal Candidate: The HR Business Partner will excel in negotiation and problem-solving, with a strong focus on fostering employee relationships. They should thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess the ability to manage multiple tasks. A bachelor’s degree and extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws across various states are required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with management to effectively communicate HR policies, procedures, programs, and laws.
- Ensure compliance with HR regulations and protect both employee and company interests.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, including counseling, disciplinary actions, separations, and exit interviews.
- Maintain and analyze employee data, preparing reports as necessary.
- Support the development and implementation of HR policies and offer advice on office procedures and documentation.
- Identify and resolve issues proactively, offering alternative solutions when needed.
- Lead and contribute to HR-related projects as required.
The Goal: As the primary HR contact, the HR Business Partner will handle employee inquiries and provide expertise in areas such as employee relations, training and development, organizational growth, and employment practices.
Experience and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of HR experience
- Strong knowledge of federal and state laws across multiple states
