As the Director of Human Resources, you will play a pivotal role in shaping company culture, leading HR initiatives, and ensuring the development and well-being of employees. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to leadership in matters related to HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development programs.
- Support career growth through mentorship and training opportunities.
- Implement and manage performance appraisal processes.
- Provide coaching and support to managers in performance-related matters.
- Act as a point of contact for employee relations matters, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Conduct investigations and provide resolutions for workplace conflicts.
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding processes to attract top talent.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements to benefits offerings.
- Process payroll from start to finish.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, in Human Resources preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years in an HR role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Illinois.
- SHRM Certification is a plus.
