We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to join our team. As the Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of various HR functions.
Duties
· Assist with onboarding processes, coordinating new hire process, offboarding processes.
· Run background checks and motor vehicle reports
· Send applicants for drug screenings, track process, submit invoice
· Request equipment:(phone, ipad, laptop)
· Order office supplies as needed
· Order uniforms: to include hard hats, safety vest, glasses, badges, etc.
· Schedule hotel reservations for employees working out of town
· Assist with vehicles to include: set up of newly purchased vehicles - decal and GPS install. Assign GPS to correct division. Order new gas card. Upon arrival of tag, ongoing list of tag with vin, department, driver, spare, sold or traded vehicles and tag renewals yearly
· Monthly Drug Free and Employee Newsletters
· Provide ongoing support for employees and managers
· Assist with special projects as assigned
· Salary based upon experience
Requirements
· Proven experience as an HR Assistant or similar role, minimum two (2) years
· Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
· Knowledge of workers' compensation processes and OSHA regulations is a plus
