As Human Resources Business Partner you will be responsible for applying business knowledge and human resources expertise. You will assist in providing a wide range of HR support and advice.

The role is based in our Round Rock, TX Office and does require 25% travel.

What is the role?

  • Be the focal point for all employees within your business group
  • Assists in the development and implementation of personnel initiatives, policies and procedures.
  • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
  • Assist with benefits administration to include new employee enrollment, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.
  • Work with internal recruiters once a candidate has been identified and extend offer letters for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees.
  • Facilitate and manage the employment process to include required pre-employment screenings, onboarding new employees and assisting new employees within their first month of employment
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with the federal and state labor laws. Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
  • Work with HR Director to handle employee relations issues, counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviews.
  • Compile and analyzes data for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinates employee recognition programs, maintains employee lists and announcements.
  • Maintain Human Resource Information System and compiles reports from database as needed.
  • Coordinates organizational training and development efforts. Monitor and schedule classes or training sessions as needed.
  • Participate in completing Visa paperwork where applicable
  • Enforce, support and comply with all work rules and company policies.
  • Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business.

Does this sound like you?

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or business management; five to seven years of directly related HR experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • HRBP manufacturing experience
  • First and foremost, you will be a team player who engages with your co-workers, peers, executive management and employees at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Strong ability to handle difficult situations, manage difficult employees and work with management to find the best solution(s)
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks and responsibilities
  • Knowledge of all applicable state and federal laws; this will include state laws for California, Illinois, Utah, Texas and other states we conduct business in
  • Highly proficient in MS Office Suite with the ability to create detailed presentations, power points and Excel spreadsheets to track, analyze and record data
  • Ability to think outside of the box in an effort to handle challenges, opportunities and issues that may arise
