What You Bring To The Team.
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to our business leaders to implement and execute people initiatives that drives business results at our Garland Production Center, Garland Services HUB, and our Allen Distribution Center. This position will be responsible for delivering the following initiatives to include but not limited to providing coaching and guidance to business leaders, employee relations, workforce planning, organizational development, organizational effectiveness, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives.
This position requires on-site presence and is located in Garland, Texas.
Responsibilities:
The HRBP partners with the leadership team to develop, communicate, and execute various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards, and other government regulation.
- Investigate and recommend solutions related employee relation issues such as employee complaints and harassment allegations.
- Drive initiatives to help foster a positive company culture, focusing on diversity and inclusion.
- Develop strategies to increase workforce readiness, retention, and engagement.
- Partner with Production Center leaders, Distribution Center leaders, and HR Manager to determine hiring needs, develop staffing strategy, and assist with executing staffing plan to meet staffing objectives.
- Implement projects centered on Communications, Organizational Capability, and Strategic Management.
- Execute organizational effectiveness/development initiatives by driving employee engagement initiatives, conducting talent reviews, and succession planning activities.
- Identify and deliver training initiatives as needed for compliance and for improving individual and team performance.
- Assignments include executing strategic and tactical work pertaining to: Quality, Compensation, Communications, Benefits, Employee Relations, Training, and Safety.
- Assignments usually involve both project work and daily human resource administration.
- Administer compensation programs, including salary recommendations, salary reviews, and variable compensation/bonus initiatives.
- Assist with defining HR department goals and objectives, and KPIs to measure success and drive business performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
- Experience working across a multi-site organization.
- Previous experience in the mining, warehouse, or manufacturing industry is an asset.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to generate reports, interpret data, and tell a compelling story.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel, and adept at utilizing SharePoint.
Personal Characteristics:
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to travel as required (less than 10%), including weekly travel between Garland Service HUB and Garland PC. Must be able to walk long distances between buildings and within the Distribution Center.
- Ability to represent Epiroc in a professional and ethical manner.
