Position Objective
This position will support the organization's Ceridian Dayforce HCM (Human Capital Management) system by functioning as a technology and process consultant for Human Resources (HR). The HR Specialist will partner with HR teammates and cross-functional stakeholders to meet HR objectives. The HR Specialist will provide functional and technical support by continually configuring and maintaining the HCM System. The Specialist assumes a proactive and reactive approach to research and analysis. This position will be the primary contact for Texas Enterprise Zone reporting to the Texas Attorney General’s Office.
Major Areas Of Accountability
HRIS Representative
Serve as the subject matter expert on HRIS (currently Ceridian-Dayforce). Responsible for communicating any HRIS changes to necessary parties; Translate business objectives, and user needs into clearly written technical requirements.
System Integrity
Configure and maintain the HCM Application to maintain optimum functionality. Lead HRIS upgrades, patches, testing, and other technical issues as needed. Perform regular audits, develop best practices, maintain relevant documentation, and educate end-users.
Texas Enterprise Zone And Other Reporting
Serve as the primary reporting contact for the Texas Enterprise Zone. Coordinate and manage reporting deadlines with the Texas Attorney General’s Office. Design, develop and interpret reports while adhering to internal standards to ensure reuse and maintainability. Assist Payroll and HR teams with creating advanced reports in supporting their day-to-day responsibilities and creating ad hoc reports as required.
Data Analysis
Proactively read, interpret, analyze and leverage data and metrics (e.g., HR data analytics, business unit metrics) to answer questions, identify trends, and solve problems.
Collaboration and System Programming
Maintains strong partnerships with HR, Benefits, Payroll, and other stakeholders. Use system programming to assist stakeholder automate processes. Analyze systems in place and develop opportunities through programming to develop data file feeds to help eliminate the need for manual processing and/or reporting.
THM
Promote cleanliness and order through the implementation of the Total Housekeeping Maintenance program. Emphasize Nothing Touch Ground program and No Visual Pollution program. Maintain the plant in like new condition.
Qualifications
Previous Related Experience Required
- A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years’ in with Ceridian or other HRIS platforms; and
- Ten years of extensive programming experience for AS400, Websmart, ESS and other related platforms; and
- Ten years of auditing/data analysis experience utilizing systems such as AS400/Websmart; and
- Programming knowledge of MCA/FPG workflows; and
- Extensive experience with AS400 RPG, CLP, SQL, HRML, JQuery, JavaScript program languages.
Education
College degree in Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or Management or Business Administration, MIS, Human Resources Management plus a minimum of 1 year of direct Dayforce experience, or H.S. Graduate or Equivalent plus minimum 3 years of direct Dayforce experience considered. Additional experience is required as outlined above.
