Summary/Objective
The HR Assistant is responsible for assisting the HR team with the onboarding process and other HR duties. This position requires detail-orientation and a candidate who is process and data-driven.
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Maintain communication with new hires to obtain their new hire documentation, as well as follow up regarding outstanding documentation.
- Ensure all new hire documentation is saved in employee files.
- Maintain complete confidentiality of all HR-related information.
- Provide support to new hires for any inquiries they may have.
- Verify I9 documents for all new hires.
- Follow up with employees to complete their annual requirements including assessments and trainings.
- Assist the department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees as needed.
Education & Experience
- Strong communications skills
- Must be able to follow detailed oral and written instructions
- Completes work, and documentation with accuracy and within agency time frames.
- Highly motivated
- Must be able to keep & protect confidential information
