The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for administering HR policies, employee benefit enrollments, benefits administration, and overseeing day-to-day HR functions to support the workforce. This critical position within the organization acts as a bridge between management and employees.
Primary Accountabilities And Deliverables
This role entails offering expert advice and guidance on a range of HR matters, including employee relations, recruitment, and compliance. Serving as a trusted communicator to others, they drive initiatives aimed at improving employee engagement, retention, and overall organizational effectiveness.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Accountable for the administration of human resources programs and provides guidance including, but not limited to, health & wellness benefits, performance, talent, recognition/morale and training & development programs and initiatives.
- Leads, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resources compliance and strategies.
- Conducts research and analysis for HR programs and projects.
- Assists with the recommendation and implementation of new policies, approaches to relevant issues, and communications to enhance the department's efficiency and delivery of services.
- Stay informed about regulatory changes and HR trends to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Assists with job fairs and recruitment strategies in advertising and posting jobs.
- Administer HR Surveys, Buddy Program, exit interviews, to identify trends, and make recommendations for changes or improvements to the HR Director.
- Engage with HR Assistant as needed to facilitate smooth employee onboarding.
- Administer and process timely performance evaluations and compensation adjustments by working with department managers.
- Providing the first contact of employee investigations and complaints.
- Maintain the highest levels of confidentiality with all proprietary and sensitive information.
- Partners with the Plant Manager and HR Director to champion the communication strategies and initiatives.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned to meet business needs.

- Tactful and skilled in resolving disputes and personnel conflicts.
Requirements (Education, Experience, Certifications, Training)
- Prefer a degree in Human Resources Management or related field; equivalent HR work experience considered.
- HR Certification Preferred.
- 5-7+ years of experience in human resources.
- Above average proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with HR recordkeeping, payroll systems, including HRIS and ATS.
- Proven ability to partner with department as a team presenter.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Any type of Marketing and Sales Skills is a plus.
