Role Summary
We are hiring a Senior Manager, Human Resources Business Partner to be responsible for overseeing all HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, training and development, HR compliance and compensation reviews. The ideal candidate will collaborate with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support Mavenir’s goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in HR management, a deep understanding of HR best practices and a desire for creating and fostering an engaging work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted business advisor and drive the delivery of talent programs to achieve business initiatives and deliver results.
- Review and analyze metrics, trends and industry knowledge to collaborate on the design, planning and delivery of people strategies that align to our business objectives for the Business Unit and region.
- Oversee the delivery of people processes, HR transactions and associated work flows such as onboarding, exits, performance management, compensation and bonus administration, remote work arrangements, immigration and other efforts related to the overall employee experience.
- Work with both the leadership team as well as employees to manage and resolve escalated policy and critical employee relations issues, including taking corrective action and conducting internal investigations.
- Maintain strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws to reduce risk and ensure compliance for the region.
- Nurture a positive working environment and promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Responsible for identifying opportunities and work to improve processes, apply innovation, and serve as a leader or subject matter expert on enterprise-wide projects, programs and processes.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of comprehensive HR management experience or related experience in a complex organization required; including demonstrated involvement influencing senior level business leaders.
- Experience with talent management, total rewards, employee relations, researching and applying federal and state employment laws, training and Workday.
- Knowledge of labor laws in the United States required. Labor law knowledge in Canada, Mexico and Brazil desired.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to effectively present to large and small groups.
- Proven commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Excellent organization and project management skills with ability to direct, manage and review the work of others.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
