Job Summary:
- Seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join the team in a manufacturing environment.
- The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in managing employee relations, talent management, and leadership development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in human resources within a manufacturing setting and possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
- Investigate and resolve employee complaints and conflicts, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution strategies.
- Talent Management:
- Oversee the recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent within the organization.
- Support performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to employees to support their professional growth.
Leadership Development:
- Identify leadership development needs and design programs to enhance leadership skills across the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and supervisors on leadership best practices and employee management techniques.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to promote leadership development and continuous improvement.
- HR Administration:
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
- Oversee benefits administration, including enrollment, claims resolution, and communication of benefit plans to employees.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma but prefer a bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and leadership development.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment is a PLUS.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and MUST HAVE PeopleSoft experience.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
