Position Overview:
The Compensation and Human Resources Reporting Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, and administering compensation programs. This position will also be responsible for generating and maintaining HR reports to support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of compensation practices and HR metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Compensation Analysis and Administration:
- Conduct market research and analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices
- Assist in the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs
- Evaluate and analyze salary data to recommend adjustments and enhancements
- Collaborate with HR business partners and management to address compensation-related issues and provide solutions
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to compensation
2. HR Reporting and Analytics:
- Develop and maintain HR reports and dashboards to provide insights into workforce metrics
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics such as turnover, headcount, diversity, and employee engagement
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement
- Present findings and recommendations to HR leadership and other stakeholders
3. Data Management and Integrity:
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of HR data by performing regular audits and data validation
- Collaborate with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) team to optimize data management processes
- Implement and maintain data governance standards
4. Project Support:
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives, providing analytical support and insights
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR process improvements and efficiencies
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Two years of experience in compensation analysis, HR reporting, or a related role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven recommendations
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Oracle preferably
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and reporting
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of compensation principles, practices, and relevant regulations
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) would be advantageous
