JOBSUMMARY
Supports HRBP andleadership to successfully implement local initiatives, and executeregional and corporate programs. Help to create an environment toattract, develop, retain and engage talent throughout the OpCo todeliver businessgoals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Providetechnical, customer relations, and personnel management for majorprograms and projects.
- Partner with HumanResource Business Partner (HRBP) to execute core HR processes (e.g.performance management, talent management, total rewards,compensation, training and development, interactive process oftransitional return to work, etc.)
- Providecoaching and guidance to leaders and associates regarding HR inareas such as policy and procedure
- Partner withHuman Resource Business Partner (HRBP) to drive an inclusive anddiverse culture
- Employee and labor relations(investigations, conflict resolution)
- Supportin reviewing, interpreting, administering and ensuring compliancewith federal, state, and local employment laws, and companypolicies and procedures
- Assists in determiningtraining needs and developing programs to improve performance andprofessionaldevelopment
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Bachelor’s Degree inHR, Org Development
Experience
- 5years of experience in Human Resourcesmanagement
- Three years of which have been in asupervisory position preferred and / or an equivalent combination ofrelated training and experience
- Experienceworking with attorneys, COE’s, and seniorleadership
Decision Making Authority
Maintain proficiency in all current employee-related lawsincluding : ADA, FMLA, Sexual Harassment, Title VII etc
Manage employee claims and litigation in conjunction withinternal and external counsel
Most importantdecisions made with review and approval of other individuals orsupervisors (include the reviews / approvals required) :
Manage HR department budget
