Human Resources Assistant - JOB PURPOSE:
The Human Resources Assistant serves as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries and provides administrative support with the day-to-day operations of the HR department including recruitment, onboarding, employee record maintenance, benefits, and payroll. This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources who will provide ongoing guidance and mentorship.
Human Resources Assistant - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provides clerical and administrative support to the Director of Human Resources
- Assists with recruitment of potential applicants for entry level positions
- Reviews background checks for employment clearance
- Administers new hire onboarding process and coordinates new hire orientation with hiring managers
- Orders and maintains uniforms for on-site service associates
- Helps to ensure that new hires are setup according to position (i.e., equipment, systems access)
- Maintains and updates personnel records and files (electronic and paper)
- Tracks 90-day performance reviews, assists with year-end focal performance review process.
- Serves as the first point of contact for general HR-related inquiries and provides general information about employee benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Assists in payroll preparation, reviews time records and reports
- Assists in processing new hire benefit enrollments and open enrollment process
- Assists in planning morale programs and events and participates in the company's Culture Committee
- Ad-hoc projects and assignments as directed by supervisor
- Maintains regular and consistent attendance according to required work schedule
- Provides exemplary customer service to residents, prospects, and guests and represents the Company in a professional manner at all times
