Human Resources Recruiter/ Generalist

We seek to add an experienced team member to our human resources team. The Human Resources Recruiter/ Generalist will be primarily responsible for Recruitment and Sourcing. This role drives growth initiatives for the upcoming years. While this role is hands on in conducting the sourcing from start to finish, the ideal candidate will have an eye for improvement opportunities and some cool projects as well. The ideal candidate will also want to broaden their human resources experience to include projects elevating recruiting and sourcing, the candidate user experience, compensation, and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities(Other duties may be assigned as needed)
Sourcing and Recruiting Primary Duties
- Manage and drive end to end Full cycle Recruiting and Sourcing. Drive candidate activity to include reviewing inbound candidate applications and evaluating qualifications to identify the strongest candidates based on defined criteria
- Source and build candidate pipelines for all positions and roles. Coordinate and schedule phone screen and on-site interview, facilitate the overall interview process and provide world-class interview experience.
- Assess candidate skills, experience and culture fit
- Prepare and deliver job offers, explaining the salary packages and benefits.
- Maintain applicant tracking system
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent and timely communication with candidates and hiring teams throughout the hiring process, identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Coordinate and plan on-campus and on-site local campus recruitment events. Serve as the primary contact for prospective interns, co-ops, and new graduates.
- Successfully implement cost effective recruitment strategies to fill positions (i.e., employee referrals, internet postings, networking, job fairs)
- Provide excellent candidate experience through communication, relationship building, and execution of the recruitment process.
- Manage all scheduling for multiple open job requisitions, including travel planning when necessary
Grow and establish the recruiting and sourcing facet to turn the function more data driven and analytical to define actionable targets.
Generalist Duties
- Acts as a resource for managers and employees to ensure their understanding and compliance with human resources policies and regulation
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting new hire orientations and exit interviews
- Assist with employee relations issues and provide guidance on disciplinary actions and performance management
- Participate in continuous improvement of human resource functions, processes and procedures
- Provide support, solutions, guidance and training to managers and employees on HR policies and practices
- Support a high-performance culture that increases employee engagement.
- Provide support in the areas of employee benefits and leave of absence administration
- Other HR-related duties or projects as assigned by the HR management
- This position is anticipated to be a hybrid work schedule after training – in house 3 days a week.

Requirements for Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree required; HR Certification is ideal.
- 3-5 years of experience in full cycle recruiting with primary sourcing responsibilities highly preferred
- Experience in conducting qualifying phone screens, screening candidate resumes and assessing skills and qualifications
- Experience with Greenhouse, Jobvite or other ATS, Google Suite
- 1-3 years of prior HR generalist responsibilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong written and oral communication skills

- Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize many tasks and complete them with accuracy and efficiency

- HR systems experience a plus (ADP, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, ATS, Performance Management)
- Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
- Basic Understanding of CA Labor Law and Wage and hour
- Ability to travel 10-15%

Currently anticipated salary range- $ 80- 95k annual base with company-wide bonus incentive and Employee Stock Ownership Participation.
