Human Resources Generalist
FORT MYERS, FL
FULL TIME
SCHEDULE: 8-hour shift - Monday to Friday: from 8 AM to 5 PM
PAY RANGE: $30 - $34 Hourly
DESCRIPTION:
The Human Resources Generalist II will inform employees about regulations, support the HR team, and manage personnel records. They must be knowledgeable in employee relations, labor law, and regulatory activities. Administrative duties include staffing and HR administration, requiring multitasking. Responsibilities will grow as the company expands within the region.
Main Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary backup to the Corporate Recruiter to help meet all hiring needs.
- Prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process, coordinating with cross-functional departments to deliver an exceptional first-day experience.
- Handle all administrative tasks for onboarding and new-hire orientations, including data entry in human resources information systems (HRIS) and audits for accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain all HR records that are accurate and up to date with HR files and documents.
- Assisted in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of the employee handbook and employee directory and contributed to policy development.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Stay updated on legal changes and support the director and SRHRBP in implementing necessary changes in HR practice and policies.
- Participate in Employee Engagement Committee activities.
- Assisting Human Resources Orientation.
- Administrative Employee Recognition Programs.
- Performs other assignments as directed.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in human resources, business, or related field.
- 4 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Resourceful mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Paycom is beneficial.
- Knowledge of national laws and regulations related to employment

- Aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
- Advanced knowledge of HRIS and ability to learn new technical systems when necessary.

- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
