We are seeking an HR Assistant for one of our best clients in the St. Petersburg FL area. Our client is a global leader in the beauty industry by offering every person around the world the best of beauty in terms of quality, efficacy, safety, sincerity and responsibility to satisfy all beauty needs and desires in their infinite diversity.
This person supports general Human Resources functions including onboarding new hires and facilitating orientation, managing and organizing HR reports, prepping meeting materials, maintaining HR records, facilitating employee events, and other administrative duties within the HR department.
This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate hoping to build their career in HR.
Work Environment: There is hybrid flexibility for 3 days in-office and 2 days remote
Pay: Starting hourly rate ranges between $23-24/hr
Schedule: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
Day in the Life-
- Assist with recruiting and interviewing process including creating job description templates, posting jobs, and facilitating the flow of the interview process
- Assisting with new hire onboarding and orientation
- Managing and maintaining HR records and reports
- Update the HRIS system with changes to hires, transfers, terminations, pay rate changes, etc.
- Coordinating employee relations events (ex. Bring Your Child to Work Day, Volunteer Day) including all of the logistics from invites and catering to managing Presenters and assisting with content
- Support the HR team with calendar scheduling and maintenance, travel and expense reporting, preparing meeting presentations, etc.

Keys to Success -
- Bachelor Degree in relevant field required, Masters Degree a plus
- Prior internship or office experience preferred
- Excellent organization skills with a strong eye for attention to detail
- Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills (both written and verbal)
- Possess cross cultural awareness and high emotional intelligence
