Sage Search is currently working with a client looking to add an HR Director to their team.
THIS IS A 100% ON-SITE ROLE IN NORTH DALLAS
Position Summary: The HR Director is a key leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of Human Resources within the organization. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating HR policies, activities, and staff, while ensuring legal compliance and aligning with the organization's mission and talent strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with department leaders to develop HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Foster a workplace culture of diversity, open communication, trust, and mutual respect.
- Provide guidance on HR matters, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and compensation, to various teams across the organization.
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and orientation processes to maintain staffing levels with qualified candidates, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Manage employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policies.
- Ensure the completion and submission of performance evaluations and support the development of performance improvement plans.
- Partner with leadership to enhance staff retention and productivity through engagement strategies, staff development, feedback, coaching, career pathing, and promoting a positive organizational culture.
- Handle employee relations issues, mitigate legal risks through proactive training and education, and manage conflict resolution processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and align them with corporate policies.
- Maintain accurate HR records and systems, compile and analyze reports, and ensure compliance with corporate policies and government regulations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, updating policies and practices as needed.
- Stay informed of HR trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies, and communicate relevant updates to management.
- Design and implement competitive compensation packages to attract and retain talent.
- Manage benefits administration, including working with brokers and overseeing the enrollment process.
- Develop and manage the HR department budget.
- Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, providing strategic direction, motivation, and support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in HR leadership with a successful track record.
- 10+ years of HR management experience (experience in the multifamily industry is preferred).
- Experience in high-performance organizations with a focus on strong, diverse talent.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, preferably Paylocity.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage teams.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance issues.
- Capable of resolving complex issues requiring cross-functional collaboration.
- Passionate about data integrity, process improvement, and continuous learning.
- Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred.
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certifications are a plus.
