Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will play a key role in providing comprehensive HR support to our organization. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of HR practices and regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders. Reporting into Operations and Finance, they will be tasked with working with the executive team to ensure that Acadeum is an award winning place to work.

Responsibilities:
HR Administration, Projects and Compliance:
- Maintain and update HR records and databases, including employee files and HRIS.
- Author and/or update employee policies as needed, including Employee handbook and related documents.
- Ensure adherence to legal requirements, labor regulations and company policies regarding employment practices.
Benefits and Compensation:
- Partner with the finance team to administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
- Assist in compensation analysis and biannual review processes.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and making hiring recommendations.
- Conduct new hire orientations and facilitate smooth onboarding processes.
Serve as the Acadeum Cultural Ambassador:
- Plan and coordinate Coordinate offsite events and other team building activities for employees and stakeholders.
- Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops for employees and managers.
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys and other cultural initiatives
- Handle employee relations, serving as a point of contact for employee questions regarding HR policies and procedures. Assist in resolving employee issues through effective conflict resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, with at least 3 years in HR functions.
- Solid understanding of HR practices and employment laws.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.
