As the HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the business as we experience significant growth. This leadership position requires a seasoned HR professional with a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing HR in a fast-paced environment. As the HRD for the business, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including employee relations, performance management, reporting, day to day, and organizational development.
Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives, ensuring the scalability of HR practices and policies.
- Talent Acquisition & Management: Assist the recruitment team in driving the recruitment process to attract top talent, ensuring the company is staffed to support rapid growth. Oversee onboarding, training, and development programs to retain and develop employees.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts in a fair and timely manner.
- Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems that drive employee engagement, productivity, and accountability.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations, minimizing legal risks and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- HR Operations: Oversee HR operations, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in all HR processes.
Required/ Non-negotiable Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in managing HR in a fast-growing organization, preferably in the service or retail industry.
- Experience with UKG and/or Workday a huge plus
- Multistate experience a must
- Bilingual: English and Spanish (fluent) a must
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into HR strategies.
- Ability to travel 20% and be present on the Field as needed
- This is an in-person, Full time position. Hybrid/ Remote for htis role is not an option
