***This position is based in Denver, CO, and is typically a Monday -Friday workweek.
There are times throughout the year when working a Saturday or Sunday is needed as part of the plan to impact others.
Job Purpose:
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for supporting the Human Resources department in various human resources needs. This includes the new hire process, employee relations, benefits communication, payroll, vendor and customer maintenance, and execution of Human Resources functions.
A key aspect of this role is the requirement that the generalist have a solid understanding of employment-related laws and regulations and be aware of OSHA regulations and compliance routines.
Essential Function and Responsibilities:
· Manage the payroll process, maintain HR files and records, ensure compliance with employment laws, and communicate weekly with HR and Restaurant Operations Partners.
· Provide advice and assistance on company policies and act as the point of contact for employees on HR-related matters to support the HR department's daily operations.
· Manage vendor relationships.
· Maintain compliance in record keeping and routines.
· Handle and resolve conflict by having honest, respectful solutions.

- Travel around the Denver area is required. This position is office-based, and we have 15 locations in and around Denver that you will need to visit.
Requirements:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree and 1 -2+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential is strongly preferred.
- Positive, high-energy attitude and ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure.
- Ability to work ethically with employee-sensitive information and strong organizational and time management skills.
