- A minimum of 5+ years equivalent experience in enrollment management, admissions, student life, or student affairs and experience with a CRM, EMP, and working with Ellucian Banner.

- Knowledge of predictive analytics and understanding of analytical and relational recruitment.
- Proven experience meeting goals, motivating staff, and developing action plans.
- Extensive knowledge of enrollment management processes.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Self-directed and able to write and maintain processes, and policies, that keep the university in compliance.
- Experience with implementing recruiting strategies and coordinating attendance at high school college fairs.

- Primary Responsibilities:**Summary*Function: Day-to-day management of administrative operations and recruitment at multiple locations. A member of the Enrollment Management Leadership team.
Scope: Responsible for leading, supervising, and developing a team of admissions professionals at the Alpine, Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Uvalde campuses. Establish goals and objectives that will create a strategy to yield first-year, transfer, dual credit, and international students. Build and foster relationships with area school districts and community colleges to ensure that enrollment goals are met. Works directly with the Executive Director for Enrollment Management to ensure the successful attainment of all enrollment goals set by the University.
*Duties*
- Lead in the ongoing strategy of data-driven plans to develop existing territories, and open new territories that yield new students.
- Hire, supervise, coach, mentor, and train admissions counselors.
- Responsible for all aspects of student acquisition and fulfillment of the admission goals.
- Ensure adequate checks and balances in the admissions and enrollment process.
- Help to develop new strategies for success in enrollment and admissions.
- Collaborate with other academic, athletic, and administrative units to recruit students and meet individual and shared goals while developing policies/procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Set staff goals and priorities that produce a results-driven work environment.
- Coordinating regular recruiting communication, including marketing direction; acceptance letters, prospect contacts, and web communications.
- The ability to speak and present at internal and external events.
- Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times.

- Usual: Normal office conditions; some travel required; exempt from overtime provisions. This position is Security Sensitive.
