Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/HR Technician to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable, and assisting with budgeting and financial reporting. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of financial concepts, excellent organizational skills, and proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks.
Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements for multiple entities
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Perform payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash
- Provide support to the finance team as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software, Quickbooks experience a plus
- Familiarity with debits, credits, and general ledger reconciliation
- Experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
