Summary:
The HR Administrative Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for all front-desk administrative responsibilities. Individuals must possess a positive attitude and maintain good relationships with all employees and customers. This position supports all departments and may be assigned tasks accordingly.
Essential Functions:
- People relations: Greet guests, answer phone, transfer calls, take messages, assist employees with basic questions. Prepare and distribute mailings and postings. Coordinate food orders, travel, and petty cash reimbursements. Assist customers in locating products and answering basic product questions.
- Safety: operate truck delivery gate, screen visitors, assist with key fob system, assist with scheduling employee doctor visits.
- Support employee life-cycle functions: organize and track applications, schedule interviews, enter new-hire information into payroll system, assist with termination actions.
- Document management: maintain company records, print and scan documents, file records, keep records accurate and organized. Maintain confidentiality of all company records. Populate data reports routinely and upon request.
- Additional tasks that support our company mission “to delight customers and families with high-quality products and unmatched service” may be assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
There are no supervisory responsibilities associated with this position.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This position is full-time, generally Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.
Travel
Travel is not regularly expected but may occasionally happen. Employees are reimbursed for pre-approved company expenses and gas in their personal vehicles.
Education and Experience:
Previous administrative experience, experience using HRIS system is required and a high school diploma is required.
English/Spanish bilingual and experience with UKG/Kronos is preferred.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Must be able to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time with occasional bending, twist, and lifting up to 25lbs.
- Must be able to freely move about the production facility
- Must be able to remain standing for periods of time up to an hour at a time
- The administrative assistant will primarily work in a typical office setting, but may occasionally require visits to the production floor where temperatures range from 22-45 degrees Fahrenheit.
