We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Associate to join our dynamic Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have experience with ADP Workforce Now and will be responsible for a variety of HR functions including employee onboarding, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to HR tasks. This is a full-time permanent role and is 5 days in office in NYC.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Administration: Assist in managing HR processes, including employee onboarding, record-keeping, and data entry using ADP Workforce Now.
- Benefits Administration: Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company benefits. Facilitate benefits enrollment and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with federal, state, and local regulations. Prepare and maintain HR-related reports and documentation.
- Recruitment Support: Aid in the recruitment process by scheduling interviews, coordinating with candidates, and performing background checks.
- Employee Relations: Provide support to employees and managers regarding HR-related questions and concerns. Assist in resolving workplace issues and conflicts.
- Training and Development: Coordinate and support training programs and employee development initiatives. Maintain training records and track employee progress.
- HR Systems Management: Utilize ADP Workforce Now for HRIS functions, including payroll processing, timekeeping, and reporting. Ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Miscellaneous Tasks: Perform additional HR-related tasks and projects as needed to support the HR department and company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in HR or related administrative roles. Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is required.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficient in ADP Workforce Now and other HR software.
- Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
