Position Summary
The Sr. HR Generalist, under the direction of the Director of HR, serves as administrator for several critical human resources functions and workforce management, including health and safety, compensation, benefits, systems administration, diversity, employee engagement, leave and attendance tracking, payroll, and employee records. Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs and ensures labor law and regulatory compliance. Provides internal support and partnership to business lines to deliver required human resources. May evaluate, select, and oversee vendors that provide supplemental HR processes and services. Coordinates with HR support staff to process and maintain employment, attendance, and other records.
Essential Job Functions - Administer and process payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Address payroll discrepancies and collaborate with finance for reconciliation.
- Manage employee leave requests, including medical, personal, and family leave. Ensure compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
- Administer the company’s 401(k) plan, including employee enrollments, changes, and compliance with ERISA regulations.
- Administer employee benefits programs including health insurance, dental, vision, and other supplemental benefits. Act as the point of contact for benefits-related inquiries and issues.
- Maintain and update HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports as needed.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records and files. Manage the documentation of new hires, terminations, and other employment changes.
- Assist in the development, review, and updating of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with workers’ compensation insurance providers and manage the return-to-work process for injured employees, including job modifications and accommodations.
- Manage and ensure timely and accurate filing of required regulatory reports including:
- ACA Filing: Oversee compliance with Affordable Care Act requirements and manage the annual filing of IRS Form 1095-C.
- EEO-1 Reporting: Prepare and submit the annual EEO-1 report, ensuring accurate representation of employee demographics.
- OSHA Logs: Maintain OSHA logs and ensure compliance with workplace safety reporting requirements.
- Form 5500 Filing: Oversee the annual Form 5500 filing for employee benefit plans, ensuring compliance with ERISA regulations.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA is preferred.
- 7-10 years of relevant HR experience, including substantial experience in payroll, benefits administration, and HR systems management.
- PHR or SHRM-CP is preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Paycom is preferred, along with strong Microsoft Office Suite experience.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or computer.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate office equipment, such as computers, phones, and other office tools.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, including the capacity to clearly convey information to others.
- Ability to see and read documents and screens for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 10-15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
- Ability to move around the office and attend meetings, including occasional travel for training or HR-related events.
