This position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the organization's recruiting and employee relations.
Recruiting:
Maintains organization staff by maintaining the recruiting, sourcing, and interviewing process; assists managers on candidate selection.
- Responsible for the onboarding process for selected candidates, ensuring all information is correct.
- Provides information to candidates regarding benefits during the on-boarding process.
- Maintains contact with candidates during the on-boarding process.
- Keeps managers/dept heads up to date with candidates’ status.
- Assists candidates with on-boarding assistance as needed.
- Ensure all new hire documents are accurate and correct to ensure on-boarding is successful.
- Completes all required background checks for new hires.
- Prepares the monthly Recruiting Status report.
- Maintains and updates New Hire tracking spreadsheet.
- Notifies required departments of new hires and any equipment needed.
- Conducts HR portion of Orientation, updating materials as needed.
- Coordinates with Marketing to updates social media accounts for recruitment and employee engagement.
- Creates and maintains community partnerships with area schools and programs and attends job fairs.
- Manage, and makes recommendations regarding applicant tracking and onboarding process to assure a positive employee experience.
- Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; assisting with investigations; maintaining records; representing the organization at hearings.
- Maintains Applicant Tracking System including create and post job openings, facilitate process to get resumes to hiring managers, communicate with potential employees and close out positions once filled.
- Responsible for data entry relating to onboarding.
Employee Relations:
- Maintains a consistent presence in the facilities, developing relationships with staff.
- Assists with employee discipline and investigations.
- Manages and oversees the employment related social media presence (i.e. employment section of the website, indeed, Glassdoor, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.) making recommendations and completing changes as needed.
- Coordinates with the Director of Human Resources to maintain management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee benefits programs and open enrollment.
Other:
- Performs routine audits of human resource processes to assure organization compliance.
- Performs special projects as assigned.
- Other duties as requested.
Educational: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 5 years of experience in Human Resources role preferred.
