Job Purpose:
- Responsible for providing expert guidance and support to both employees and management on a wide range of HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Highest level of confidentiality and access to information which unauthorized disclosure could be expected to have a severe or catastrophic adverse effect on organizational operations, organizational assets, or individuals.
Key Accountabilities:
- Acts as a point of contact for employees and management to address HR-related inquiries, concerns, and issues.
- Provides guidance and support in resolving employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Provides advice in the development and implementation of performance management processes.
- Supports managers in setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and addressing performance issues.
- Interprets and ensures compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment laws.
- Provides advice in the development and updating of HR policies and employee handbooks.
- Collaborates with the recruitment team to participate in the recruitment and onboarding process.
- Conducts interviews, assist in candidate selection, and facilitate new employee orientations.
- Identifies training needs and provide recommendations for employee development.
- Coordinates and facilitate training programs and workshops.
- Mediates workplace conflicts and provide guidance on conflict resolution strategies.
- Promotes a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Ensures HR practices comply with relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Assists in audits and investigations related to HR matters.
- Strictly follows established environmental, health, safety and quality policies and procedures in order to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/services and a responsible environmental attitude.
- Undertakes accountabilities in the operational excellence process as set out in the schedule of responsibilities.
- Contributes to the processes of continuous improvement for the area assigned.
- Performs any other relevant task as directed by Executive Director HR.
Minimum Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years related experience, covering HR operations (OD, Policies & Programs, C&B, Training & Development) in oil & gas sector organization.
- Academic background includes a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
