We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our client's team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting various HR functions, from onboarding new employees to managing benefits and coordinating training programs. Your contributions will help ensure smooth HR operations and foster a positive workplace environment.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new employees to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience. Coordinate orientation sessions and assist with any required support.
- Provide assistance in managing employee benefit plans, including overseeing enrollment, processing changes, and addressing employee inquiries. Ensure accurate documentation and timely processing of benefits.
- Manage and track unemployment claims, maintain appropriate documentation, and collaborate with legal advisors as necessary.
- Assist in organizing and implementing training programs, utilizing digital tools for efficient delivery and tracking of training activities.
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
- Provide support in tracking and documenting performance evaluations, development plans, and related processes.
- Address employee questions and offer guidance on HR-related issues, ensuring information is communicated accurately and consistently.
- Participate in HR-focused projects and initiatives aimed at improving overall HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Prepare, manage, and distribute HR-related documents, ensuring they meet company policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 1 to 3 years of experience in human resources, focusing on coordination and support tasks.
- Skilled in using HR software systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to quickly learn new technology.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with team members at all levels.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with great attention to detail and the ability to prioritize work effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
