HR Coordinator / Administrative Assistant
Caton Park Rehab and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced
Administrative Assistant / HR Coordinator for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Brooklyn, NY
. The ideal candidate will have previous healthcare experience.
DUTIES:
- Coordinate employee benefits by acting as the liaison between Payroll Dept & Benefits Administrator
- Ensure the Department of Labor and Department of Health compliance for all new hires including time-clock enrollment, criminal background checks/reference checks/license verification
- Assisting with recruitment needs by scheduling applicants for interviews
- Handles other HR related duties, change in payroll status, terminations, resignations, retirements
- Assist staffing coordinator to create and maintain daily staffing reports which includes but not limited to, work hours, request time off and vacancies. This also includes computing employee work hours and sending to payroll department, reviewing and assessing any payroll issues.
- Other administrative duties as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
- Prior experience in an HR or staffing setting preferred
- Knowledge of human resource administration preferred
- Inter-personal, organizational and problem-solving skills are required
- Must have excellent communication skills
