We are seeking an experienced Field HR Manager with a strong background in field operations, ideally within the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience partnering with field operation leaders and managing HR teams. This role requires a deep understanding of onshore operations and the unique challenges that come with managing field employees, such as pay structures, scheduling complexities, and operational demands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of HR Partners, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Collaborate closely with field operations leaders to understand their unique challenges, and workforce needs.
- Oversee HR operations in onshore field environments, addressing issues related to compensation, scheduling, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business objectives and field operations requirements.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, ensuring a strong, positive culture across field operations.
- Manage training and development, succession planning, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations for field staff, ensuring smooth HR processes.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and company policies, with a focus on field operations.
- Analyze HR metrics and make data-driven recommendations to improve HR processes and operational efficiency.
- Serve as a key advisor to field operation leaders, offering strategic HR insights and solutions.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of overall HR experience, with at least 4+ years in a supervisory capacity leading HR teams.
- Proven experience working in field operations, preferably in the oil & gas industry.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing HR Partners.
- In-depth understanding of onshore field operations and the unique challenges that field leaders face.
- Offshore/International experience highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with field leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
