A manufacturing company in Beaumont is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join their team! The HR Manager will lead all HR functions, handle recruitment, promote employee engagement, and ensure compliance.
Location: Beaumont, TX 77705 - ONSITE
Salary: $100,000-$120,000 + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment process and onboarding program to ensure a smooth integration of new hires into the organization.
- Work closely with hiring manager to identify needs, create job descriptions, and throughout the hiring process.
- Manage the full benefits process to include enrollments, terminations, and changes for Medical, Dental, Vision and ancillary plans.
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Work with government agencies in the event of any announced/unannounced inspections or audits.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- SHRM-CP a plus
- Minimum 5+ years of full cycle HR, benefits administration, talent acquisition experience required.
- Spanish bilingual required (read, write, speak)
- Must be available to work in the office Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00 and available to check in on different shifts as needed.
