Position Summary
In this role, you will lead and supervise all shifts, ensuring that program services are provided and maintained in compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. You will oversee the implementation of program policies and procedures, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Report directly to the CEO and collaborate closely with them.
- Cultivate a culture of inclusivity, cultural competency, and respect, incorporating best practices including Trauma-Informed Care.
- Ensure a safe and confidential environment for all guests.
- Regularly meet with staff to address issues, celebrate achievements, and discuss concerns.
- Oversee the overall performance, compliance, and continuous improvement of the program.
- Manage staff performance, evaluations, and training.
- Implement and uphold program standards and procedures.
- Handle the fiscal management of relevant budgets.
- Set the tone and direction for the program in coordination with the CEO.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Administrative Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan and evaluate program activities to ensure effectiveness.
- Participate in meetings focused on programming design and improvement.
- Manage administrative tasks such as processing invoices, check requests, payments, and payroll related to the program.
- Work with the Human Resources Director to resolve staff conflicts as needed.
- Maintain communication within the organization and between programs by attending relevant meetings.
General Responsibilities

Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to think strategically and act promptly.
- Proven experience in program management and task delegation.
- Working knowledge of the Housing First model is essential.
- Prior experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness is required.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Experience in leading meetings and delegating tasks.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to maintain positive interpersonal relationships in various professional settings.
- Capability to meet deadlines and knowledge of community resources and similar programs.
- Understanding of Trauma-Informed Care principles.
Education And Experience
- An undergraduate degree in Social Work, Education, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Family Studies, Business, or a related field is required.
- At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
- A minimum of three years of direct service experience.
Other Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to navigate stairs, ladders, ramps, and uneven terrain.
- Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire.
