Job Title Human Resources (HR) Manager - Payroll, Benefits, and Compliance

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Human Resources (HR) Manager to oversee payroll, benefits administration, and ensure compliance with SHRM standards and regulations. This role is integral to maintaining accurate payroll processing, managing employee benefits programs, and ensuring the company adheres to all relevant labor laws and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management
Oversee the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and issues.
Benefits Administration
Manage the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-sponsored benefits.
Conduct annual benefits enrollment, communicate benefit options to employees, and assist with any benefit-related inquiries.
Liaise with benefit vendors to ensure smooth operations and resolve issues.
Compliance and SHRM Standards
Ensure HR policies and practices comply with SHRM guidelines and federal, state, and local employment laws.
Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements to ensure the company’s compliance.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with SHRM standards.
HR Operations and Reporting
Prepare and maintain accurate HR records, reports, and documentation.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR strategies that support the company's objectives.
Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
5+ years of experience in HR management, with a focus on payroll and benefits administration.
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
