Completion Coordinator:
Role:
Intentional reporting to identify close to completion students and meeting with the eligible students for completion verifications to apply for graduation. Collaboration with internal departments to connect the potential graduates with available resources needed to commit to their next steps for completion. Manages and processes the Auto Grad Report for any eligible students who did not complete the graduation application. Coordinates and plans academic commencement ceremonies. Maintains data required for reporting including but not limited to close to completion, graduation application reports, pending and processed award completions and conferrals, and diploma data. Prepares and submits appropriate communication to all stakeholders in the process. Hybrid remote work to be reviewed after 6 months of employment – typically 1 to 2 days a week.
The salary range for this position is $20.02 to $30.03 per hour.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
N 50% Coordinates commencement ceremonies for each semester offered including organization,
planning, and execution of all necessities for the ceremonies. Maintain commencement
ceremony RSVPs, order regalia for students, new faculty, and platform, honors tassels, guest
capacity, overflow capabilities.
N 30% Communicates and meets (in person or virtually) with students that show 75% completion of
their degree plan to commit to complete the graduation application process and participate in
the ceremony. Includes completing graduation checks on eligible students; verification of
degree audits and GPA. Confers all eligible awards based on application and/or auto
graduation qualification after each term. Prepares and submits all diploma orders to be sent to
students
N 15% Partnership with Marketing and Communication, Audio and Visual, facilities, Ambassadors,
volunteers, and all other stake holders involved in commencement. Prepares graduation
application for each semester and maintains data outcomes. Prepares and executes
communication to applicants and all involved with preparation or volunteering.
N 5% Performs other job related duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience: Two to five years of similar or related experience.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree is preferred.
Interpersonal Skills: A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and/or can be of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating or influencing others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to others. Ability to follow general procedures, yet make decisions on an individual basis.
Other Skills: Excellent communication skills. Strong leadership ability. Strong computer skills and knowledge of enrollment systems.
Physical Requirements: The work is typically sedentary. However, there may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying of light items, driving an automobile, etc. No special physical demands are required to do the work. Requires stamina during peak periods.
Work Environment: Regular exposure to favorable conditions such as those found in a typical office.
