Temp HR Assistant!

$23.60/hr
Position Overview
The Temp HR Assistant involves working on a special project to review and manage a large volume of HR files. The Temp HR Assistant handle and process a large volume of HR files, including personnel files, payroll documents, and pension records.
Responsibilities Of The Temp HR Assistant
- File Review: Examine approximately 400+ boxes of HR files to determine whether they should be destroyed or retained according to the company’s retention policy
- Documentation: Accurately document the status of each file using internal trackers (Excel spreadsheets)
- File Organization: Prepare files for shipment to an external vendor for scanning or destruction
- Ensure precise data entry into internal databases
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving boxes of documents
Qualifications For The Temp HR Assistant
- Exhibit strong organizational skills to manage and sort files effectively
- Work collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrate proficiency in MS Office suite
- Keen eye for detail and experience in filing, particularly within an HR context
Education Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but is not required
