Riverpoint Medical, Costa Rica has an opening for a
HR Manager. At Riverpoint you will be part of the process that brings great technology to Medical, Dental and Veterinary markets. We specialize in the design and manufacturing of premium medical devices. Our ingenuity can be found in our suture technologies, sports medicine fibers and anchors, surgical lighting, and special needle technologies. This position is hands on in a high growth environment with the opportunity to build an organization to support medical device manufacturing. As part of the leadership team at Riverpoint Medical’s Costa Rica manufacturing site, you will oversee all aspects of human resources including recruitment, development of high performing teams attract, and retain talent to support manufacturing operations, and develop and executing a strategy for success.
Duties and Responsibilities for the position include:
- Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to Riverpoint’s values which centers around our commitment to People, Clients and Performance. As an HR Manager, you are expected to recognize the importance of and create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining our processes adding value to our business and meeting client needs.
- Provide guidance to People Leaders for all phases of the Performance and Reward Cycle including Annual Reviews, Calibration, Goal Setting, and Reward Planning
- Recruit and retain talent for all levels of the organization
- Responsible for management of employee relations, legal compliance and ensuring HR policies meet these requirements in designated country or region
- Proactively work with Managers/People Leaders in your region to highlight and identify key trends and issues arising from data such as exit interviews, turnover reports, absence, and performance reviews and propose specific plans to assist and advise improvements. Support the implementation of people strategies and plans through the rollout of HR programs and through the provision of local country Insight into the broader HR team.
- Build strong relationships with key Managers within your service lines of responsibility. Provide a proactive HR consultation service to all people managers advising them on all HR related matters that arise in their teams.
- Collaborate with corporate HR to ensure successful pull through of strategic business and HR initiatives.
- Support and coach people managers on complex employee Issues
- Facilitation and support of training sessions on a variety of topics including HR initiatives, Policy Implementation and Performance and Reward
- As a data driven organization, have the understanding and ability to perform data analysis using Excel and then to convert the output and provide an executive summary
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a HR Manager, HRBP or Generalist
- Must have demonstrated proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PPT. In addition, need to be adept at communication technologies including Teams and MS Outlook as well HRIS software.
- Must be energized by and excel in a high volume, fast-paced environment.
