Description: The HR Manager is responsible for the management and administration of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, and compliance. This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels. Requirements: Performance Management:
Oversee the performance review process, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback.
Work with managers to develop performance improvement plans when necessary.
Identify training and development needs to support employee growth and organizational goals.
Compensation and Benefits:
Work with CHRO and Payroll Administrator to manage employee compensation programs, including payroll, bonuses, and benefits.
Ensure that compensation practices are fair, competitive, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Manage benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Compliance and Reporting:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.Prepare and file payroll tax returns, including federal, state, and local taxes.Generate and distribute W-2s, 1099s, and other payroll-related forms.Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.· Ensure HR policies and practices comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.· Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and reports.· Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.Employee Support:Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries and issues.Provide support and guidance to employees regarding payroll policies and procedures.Assist with onboarding new employees and explaining payroll-related information.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.Stay current with industry best practices and payroll technology advancements.Employee Relations and Engagement:· Partner with HR Team and Management to foster a positive and inclusive work environment.· Partner with CHRO to address employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts in a timely and effective manner.· Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.· Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.· Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations regarding compensation and benefits.· Partner with recruiter to manage the recruiting process Skills:Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives.Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software applications.Physical Requirements:Ability to work in an office environment.Ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
