Z3Talent's client is a rapidly growing manufacturer located in the Longmont area. They are seeking an HR Director who will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, planning, coordination, administration and evaluation of the human resources function.
Responsibilities
- Partner with leaders to evaluate, develop and implement an HR and Talent management strategy to execute on the mission, vision and goals of the company.
- Design and execute compensation strategies and processes that maintain market competitiveness for all job positions and levels.
- Lead the effective and efficient administration of the performance management process, equipping managers to engage in constructive and ongoing feedback to support growth and address performance gaps.
- Identify key training interventions to build critical employee non-technical skills and ongoing development.
- Mitigate legal risk to the company through proactive training and education, clear systems and processes for managing conflicts.
- Review and implement best practice HR technology to enable effective and efficient workforce management for leaders, managers and employees.
- Function as a key member of the leadership team.
Qualifications
The successful candidate must possess the ability to function in an evolving, growing, and entrepreneurial environment. They will need to be able to prioritize and lead multiple concurrent work streams to meet deadlines.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in business, HR, or equivalent is required.
- Minimum of 15 years in a progressively responsible HR role with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or similar industry with a broad spectrum of hourly and salaried employees would be preferred.
- Extensive experience in training, developing, and mentoring staff.
- Proven track record in designing and implementing company support systems, tailored to enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong business acumen, with demonstrated leadership abilities in driving strategic initiatives and fostering a culture of excellence.
- Exceptional analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and informed decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate, identify, and solve practical problems effectively and efficiently.
- Outstanding judgment, with a proven commitment to maintaining confidentiality, objectivity, and fairness in all professional matters.
