Ideal Background/Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources.
- Over 3 years of experience in a senior HR role.
- Demonstrated experience as an HR Manager or in a similar executive HR position.
- Strong people skills with a focus on achieving results.
- Proven track record with HR metrics and data analysis.
- Familiarity with HR systems and databases.
- Ability to develop strategies and provide leadership.
- Excellent skills in active listening, negotiation, and presentations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization.
HR Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes.
- Manage payroll for multiple different schedules, including 2 bi-weekly and several weekly, covering both hourly and salaried employees.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.
- Handle the recruitment and selection process.
- Address current and future business needs by developing, engaging, motivating, and retaining human capital.
- Design and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Foster a positive work environment.
- Manage a performance appraisal system that promotes high performance.
- Oversee the compensation plan and benefits program.
- Identify training needs, and implement and oversee training programs.
- Report to management and provide insights and support based on HR metrics.
