Job Title : Human Resources Director

Summary : The HR Director serves as a strategic partner and key liaison for Peckham’s Human Resources team and Peckham Contact Center Solutions Leadership in our Arizona locations.
This role provides expertise in human resources for executive leadership within our call center operations. The HR Director will collaborate closely with operations and human services leadership and staff to create a culture where employees feel valued, respected, motivated, and connected to the company’s mission and values.
Main Duties and Responsibilities :
- Be a strategic human resources, culture, and mission partner for stakeholders including Peckham Contact Center Services Operations and Human Services teams.
- Provide guidance, perspective, and insight for operational leadership on organization decisions and processes.
- Embody and promote Peckham’s culture, mission, and core values into daily business practices and operations.
- Work with internal stakeholders to gain a strong understanding of call center business and people's needs.
- Utilize strong critical thinking skills to help problem solve critical issues in partnership with executive and operational leadership.
- Serve as a culture leader and champion to drive action through Peckham’s committable core values.
- Provide a wide knowledge of HR operations best practices and be an onsite subject matter expert for our Arizona team.
- Assist in incorporating Peckham’s Human Resources strategic plans and practices to Contact Center Solutions operations.
- Partner with key business leaders to ensure a consistent experience is delivered to all employees, regardless of functional area.
- Partner with VP of Belonging to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programs.
- Assist the management of employee engagement survey programs including working with executive management to analyze survey results.
- Influence and provide meaningful insights to high-level stakeholders without direct authority.
- Support the execution of signature programs, key company-wide events, and initiatives that promote and reinforce Peckham’s culture and values.
- Collaborate with our Talent Development Teams to help promote staff professional development.
- Ensure seamless alignment between corporate and business unit orientations and onboarding processes.
- Partner with the Talent Acquisition team in the hiring process.
- Manage onsite Employee Relations issues in partnership with HR Business Partners and Operations leadership.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience leading human resources operations and HR initiatives or other directly related experience.
- Experience in creating and implementing strategic and impactful Human Resource initiatives.
- Experience with one or more of the following : HR Generalist, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Recruitment, Organizational Design and / or Coaching.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Pass and maintain a successful Federal background check.
- This position will require travel between both Peckham Phoenix locations and to other Peckham locations in Michigan.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources or related field.
- Five or more years of leading HR strategic initiatives or other related experience.
- Professional certifications related to human resources.
- Experience working in a Contact Center.
- Experience using Workday as an HRIS.
